The total project cost for the Rea Community is $3.23 million. This includes construction, development, and 5 years of operational expenses to establish and run the 13-unit affordable housing community.
Timeline Goals
Summer 2024: Site Investigation
Extensive analysis of the project site will be conducted in the Summer of 2024 to assess feasibility and identify any potential challenges.
August 2024: Capitol Campaign Kick-Off
Fundraising efforts will kick off in the Summer of 2024 to secure the necessary funding for the project. 80% raised by December 31st, 2024.
Fall 2024: Engineering Plans
Detailed engineering plans will be finalized by Fall 2024 to ensure a smooth construction process.
Winter 2024-25: Site Work
Site preparation and infrastructure work will commence in the Winter of 2024 and continue into 2025.
Spring 2025 – 2026: Vertical Construction
The main building construction will take place in the Spring of 2025, with the goal of opening the first units by Spring 2026.
